"Settimo is a hidden gem if you like seafood. It’s in a hidden place outside the city center, around 10-15 minutes by taxi. The seafood quality is outstanding, great raw seafood, great pasta. The suggestion is to tell them to go with mixed starters and they will send to you a selection of their starters... usually it’s enough for most of the people. But if you’re really hungry you can have pasta with lobsters or fish. I strongly suggest the fish under salt crust that is a specialty or the deep fried mixed seafood"

"The place is cozy and the waiters are very friendly. The fish soup is amazing (it's not on the menu, so you'll need to ask the waiter) while the grilled squid tasted a bit burned and the veggies soaked too much oil in."

"Fantastic place ! Most of all, you will be pleasantly aurprised by the waiters: fast, nice and very smart and ready to catch your needs. Food is absolutely great: good taste, good range of choice and nice plates. But this is not enough. Portions are huge and very good. In the attached pictures, spaghetti are just for one person! And same the rice! Yes, it is true, you can eat more than what you can imagine and the taste is always very quality one. Always full, is recommended to reserve a table. Prices are adequate to the kind of restaurant: fish is a little bit more expehensive than other dishes, but here you can be sure to find very good quality one. Buon appetito!"

"We had dinner for three, and although we didn’t have a reservation, the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We ordered several dishes, as seen in the pictures, and everything was cooked perfectly. We hope to return next year to try even more of their delicious offerings!"

"Absolutely the best fish restaurant in Florence, I have really tried many of them. Very nice and almost homely (not touristic) treatment of customers. I have difficulty in advertising specific dishes, many are excellent, so better use the mixes (like antipasto misto), which are their strong point."
